Online sports betting operator, PointsBet, recently announced its plans to launch in Colorado.
The announcement came soon after citizens of Colorado voted for the legalization of sports wagering via Proposition DD.
While the CO sports betting framework is still in development, Pointsbet has set aim for a launch in the second quarter of 2020.
Also recently disclosed, are PointBet’s plan to set up a second US-based hub in Denver, Colorado. The hub will serve as PointsBet USA’s western base of operations, focusing on product innovation and technology recruitment moving forward.

PointsBet Downloadable App In CO
Pointsbet is expected to provide Colorado natives with a downloadable app for both iOS and Android devices. Users will likely be required to install geo-location software to ensure they are betting from within state boundaries.
Based on the PointsBet App available in New Jersey, the following features are expected to be available for the Colorado app:
- Live betting- bettors are expected to have the option of live in-play betting on a variety of sporting events. Odds will fluctuate based on the state of play of the sporting event.
- Quick Deposits/Withdrawals- both deposits and withdrawals should only take a few taps to make using the mobile app.
- Rewards Programs- Pointsbet implements a reward program which provides exclusive bonuses based on your real money betting.
- Customer Service- customer service should be available for assistance via telephone and email.
Alternative to the app, bettors will likely also have the option of accessing the Pointsbet Sportsbook on mobile via a browser-based client. Instead of downloading the software, you can just visit the operator’s website and login on your mobile browser, just like on desktop.
